Campaign Operations Coordinator
Creative, Account & Operations
Work Arrangement: Fully remote
Reports To: Executive Team
Please note: visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Position Overview
The Campaign Operations Coordinator serves as the central point of coordination between the executive team, the creative team, our client accounts, and our internal operating platforms. In this role, you will translate daily performance data into actionable decisions and ensure that all active workstreams progress on schedule and without disruption.
This is neither a traditional account-management position nor a conventional project-management position. It is an operations role that calls for a product-minded, technically capable professional — someone equally comfortable interpreting a P&L statement and making a campaign decision, documenting a clear and reproducible product issue, scoping configuration work for an operations specialist, and keeping a team of editors and writers aligned to deadlines. Candidates who think in systems and consistently seek out more effective tools and processes will thrive here.
Industry experience is neither required nor expected. We are hiring for the underlying skill set — disciplined decision-making from data, pipeline coordination, and clear communication — and we will provide complete training on the domain itself. The strongest candidates frequently come from adjacent fields rather than from within this industry.
Our Operating Model
Every responsibility in this role supports a single, continuous value chain:
Campaigns generate → routing delivers to buyers → buyers purchase.
Each function exists in service of this chain. Creative and campaign decisions drive generation. Routing operations ensure that what is generated reaches the appropriate buyer at the right time. Account management sustains ongoing buyer demand. These are not independent tasks; they are interdependent links in one system, and this role holds responsibility for all three.
Success in this position depends on maintaining a holistic view of the entire chain rather than optimizing any single component in isolation. A strong campaign delivers little value if it routes to the wrong buyer; precise routing accomplishes little if buyer relationships are neglected; and engaged buyers cannot be served without a healthy creative pipeline. The objective is to keep the full system healthy and consistently productive.
What We Value Most
A capacity for rapid learning and coachability. This is the most important attribute we are seeking. We are prepared to train the right candidate from the ground up on everything required for success — a meaningful investment we are glad to make. That investment is most effective with a candidate who absorbs, retains, and applies new information quickly.
Proactive communication. When we ask whether you have questions, we genuinely want to hear them. In the absence of questions, we will assume alignment and proceed accordingly, so we strongly encourage clarifying upfront rather than working from assumptions. We would always prefer to answer a question than to see work move in the wrong direction.
A strong sense of ownership. Priorities shift and the pace is fast. We are looking for someone who independently manages competing workstreams and stays ahead of their responsibilities without requiring oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Pipeline Management
Provide direction to the creative team (scriptwriter and video editors), including feedback, approvals, and clearly articulated revision requests for scripts and finished creative.
Maintain visibility into every script and creative asset in progress, tracking status, blockers, and timelines.
Translate performance data into briefs for the next round of creative and coordinate their handoff to the scriptwriter.
Campaign Decisioning
Review prior-day P&L performance each morning and determine the appropriate action for each campaign: terminate, maintain, monitor, or scale.
Launch campaigns as they become ready, updating tracking systems and recording budgets and launch dates.
Account Management
Manage day-to-day communication with assigned accounts, primarily newer and smaller accounts; strategic, high-value accounts remain at the executive level.
Onboard new accounts and maintain healthy ongoing relationships.
Operations Oversight
Direct an operations specialist, scoping new work and configuration changes in accordance with executive guidance.
Monitor performance and routing patterns to proactively identify and define the resulting operational tasks.
Product Feedback & Internal Tooling
Submit precise, reproducible feedback on internal tools, following a clear standard: the action taken, the expected outcome, and the actual result.
Evaluate and adopt AI-enabled tools to increase individual and team productivity.
Executive Coordination
Maintain regular alignment with the executive team — asynchronously or by call — on shifts in focus, priorities, and compliance requirements, and implement those changes across the pipeline.
A Typical Day
The day begins with a review of the prior day's P&L performance and corresponding decisions on each active campaign. These insights inform the next set of creative requirements, which are briefed to the scriptwriter. Throughout the day, you will track all scripts and creative in progress, approving completed work and providing constructive feedback where revisions are needed. You will coordinate with an executive to capture any changes in focus or priorities. As creative assets are approved, you will launch the associated campaigns and update tracking systems with budgets and launch dates. Interspersed throughout are account communications, analysis of performance patterns to scope work for the operations specialist, and continued exploration of AI tooling to improve efficiency.
Candidate Profile
A fast learner who is highly coachable and retains and applies new knowledge effectively.
Able to interpret P&L data and make timely, well-reasoned decisions in ambiguous conditions.
Strong project-management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and stakeholders without letting items slip.
A clear and structured communicator who can produce actionable feedback for both technical and creative audiences.
Product- and systems-oriented, with the ability to see the broader workflow and advocate for process improvements.
Demonstrated curiosity about, and active use of, AI-enabled tools.
Composed, organized, and decisive in a high-volume environment.
Backgrounds That Translate Well
We welcome candidates from a wide range of professional backgrounds. The following adjacent fields tend to develop directly transferable skills, and we actively encourage applicants from them:
Production or editorial operations — agency or content producers, post-production coordinators, or managing editors who run a pipeline of creative work, brief contributors, give feedback, and hold deadlines.
Program, project, or product operations — (technical) program managers, business-operations analysts, or chief-of-staff-style roles that scope work, coordinate specialists, and convert data into decisions.
Multi-unit or field operations management — district or general managers in hospitality, retail, or franchising who make daily decisions from P&L data and manage teams in high-volume environments.
Logistics, dispatch, or supply-chain coordination — roles centered on routing, throughput, and keeping an interdependent system flowing efficiently.
Trading, desk, or portfolio operations — roles that involve managing a book by the numbers and making rapid keep, scale, or exit decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience managing or directing a creative or production team.
Comfort working within and configuring operational software platforms.
Bonus if you are an avid Factorio player.
Measures of Success
Campaign decisions are timely, data-informed, and contribute to improved margin.
The creative pipeline operates on schedule, supported by clear briefs and consistent output quality.
Assigned accounts are well-managed and stable.
Feedback submitted on internal tools is reproducible and actionable.
Operational tasks are scoped with sufficient clarity to enable independent execution.
